“Labels bias our perceptions, thinking, and behavior. A label or story can either separate us from, or connect us to, nature. For our health and happiness, we must critically evaluate our labels and stories by their effects.”—― Michael J. Cohen (via psych-quotes)
When we were waiting at the stage door for Bryan Cranston last night there were 3 guys and 2 girls in front of us and they were pissing me off. This one guy kept moving around like he had to pee and the 2 other guys decided to take a selfie literally every 3 minutes. And the girls there, to me, just seemed to talk like they thought they were so cool. While I was thinking of how much they were annoying me and pissing me off with these minor things I started saying to myself, “No stop, Shannon. You’re just being a bitch. They aren’t doing anything actually bad so you can’t be thinking mean things about these people.”
So today I found out my sister was also really annoyed by these people. Now I can’t tell if these people actually just were annoying or if my sister and I are just a little bit mean. Who knows? I’m happy I wasn’t the only one getting annoyed though.
Also they were talking about Robin Wright and one of the girls said “she was in the princess bride” and one of the guys asked “who was she in the movie?” and the girl replied “you know, the girl. The princess” and I just wanted to yell “BUTTERCUP”
